Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd. and Fenicem Minerals Inc. have patented a new type of
Shotcrete that is comprised of both cement and slag. This new product is called Shot
Slag Crete. Where regular Shotcrete has a compression strength of 40 Mpa, tests on
Shot Slag Crete have average test results of 48 Mpa. By using a
waste product from mining, and incorporating this slag to make concrete, Rainbow Concrete
and Fenicem Minerals Inc. have taken environmentally friendly to a higher level.
Shotcrete is not the only application for Shot Slag Crete.
It can be designed specifically for almost any application. |
